Astral house guard

I currently live in a small, two-story cabin, and I sleep upstairs. Last night I was in a lucid dream when I thought I heard some noise downstairs. So "I" (at this point my second body, or astral body) decided I better go downstairs and see what was going on. "I" went downstairs, looked around the living area, front door, and kitchen. Seeing no problems, "I" came back upstairs.

After that I woke up, physically went downstairs and looked around, and heard some people outside, but that was all.

Was it real? I don't know, but it was very cool to be that aware and conscious in the second body state.
