Doug Collins leaves game with vertigo
November 4, 2010: Unfortunately 76ers head coach Doug Collins had to leave a game with vertigo last night. As I've mentioned before, Mr. Collins had a concussion earlier this summer, and as I had to deal with concussion symptoms for nearly a year myself in 2008-2009, I've been watching the news for reports on his health. As I've also mentioned before, I'm amazed when football players come back from a concussion in one or two weeks.
Finally, no vertigo
On April 13th, 2009, I hit my head very hard, resulting in a mild concussion. Ever since then I have been having problems with vertigo (dizziness), but last week, at the end of July, after three months, the dizziness (and concentration problems) finally went away.
Practicing yoga with vertigo
The top of my head finally quit hurting about two weeks ago, but I've still been having problems with vertigo/dizziness. I don't know if this is due to the concussion, but they warned me it was a possibility. The only thing that really matters is that I've gotten tired of it, and I want to practice yoga again.
