Lifting a house like Yoda
While the universe continues to remind me that this physical body is mortal and I'm just living here on borrowed time, my lucid dreams of late have been entertaining. Two of the last three nights I've had lucid dreams with friends and family members, along with a couple of people I don't know.
Dreams of family members
I haven't had any time to write lately, and don't have much this morning, so I'll keep this brief.
About five days ago I had a nightmare about one of my family members, and jotted a note about it in the notebook I keep by the bed. I hadn't spoken with her in a while, I don't remember exactly how long, but it was certainly days and possibly weeks. The next day she sent an email saying she would need surgery.
Lucid dream, Follow Me, family across a divide
In the closest thing I've had to an OBE in a while, later tonight I need to make a number of updates to my other websites, so I decided to take an afternoon nap. When I laid down, I decided to listen to one of the Monroe recordings I have, and I listened to it until I fell asleep.
Dreams of the family, and 11 people drowning
Lots of packing and moving activity lately (I'm moving again next week), but I just wanted to note lots of dreams of the family lately, and the thought this morning I had as I was waking up of 11 people drowning. FWIW, the family dreams have included my father, who passed away 16 years ago.
Three more vibration experiences
I just had three more vibration episodes during an afternoon nap. I still did not have an OBE, as I think I've swung the other way in my efforts, and I think I'm trying to force the action too much. However, I did have the very cool "toggling" between different worlds.
The setup
I had a stressful morning, and a nagging headache all day. Around 3pm I finally gave in and decided to rest for a little while. I set up my bean bag, and slept at an inclined angle for the usual 45 minutes or so.
Shuttles launching, and a huge rocket crashing
I woke up from a horrific dream about 6:15am today.
Most of my family and I were at the house we grew up in, and when I looked out a modified version of my bedroom window, I saw three Space Shuttles being launched simultaneously. Before I had time to think, another three Shuttles were launched. I didn't take this as a positive event; it seemed more like a need to evacuate the planet, or at least the United States.
Quality time on the holodeck
I thought about going to the movies later today, but decided to go to the 'interactive holographic virtual environment' instead ... which is a fancy way of saying I decided to sleep in until after 10am. I've worked for at least 21 straight days, and I was brain-dead last night.
Semi-lucid PK dream in old house
4:11am. Just finished a long, long dream where I thought I was awake. Not a multi-layered dream where I wake up from one dream into another, just one that had me convinced it was real.
I started off in the house where I grew up, and I'm in my room, and my brother-in-law Kenny is there with me. I should have known it was a dream then, because he's never been there, but I'm out of practice, and wasn't conscious enough to figure it out.
Too personal
I promised myself when I started this blog that I would be honest with everything, so today I will be very honest and say that I had a horrifying dream about my family this morning, and I don't want to write anything about it here, other than to make this note. And to say there are some nights I wish I could just sleep without dreaming.
Building fire, cont'd
Second part of that dream, my wife, her father, and Kenny have gone to the downstairs part of this building. Upstairs I'm talking to the British guy (the one my wife dated some time before me). Somehow we can see the sky, there are two layers of clouds, and suddenly the lower layer goes flying by very fast.
