My wife in an alternate reality
For everything I've written about being well-rested, it's possible to be too well-rested, which is where I was at last night. It was easy enough to get to sleep at night after some light yoga and meditation, but then I woke up just before 3am, ready to start the day. I finally quit fighting it at 5:30am and got up to start the day.
Dream of flying on a small jet airplane
A long dream to end this morning's sleep period ... many people I know, or have known, are boarding a small jet aircraft (like a Lear jet) to take a ride to, well, I don't know where. Everyone is supposed to get seated, and there are folding chairs, some people sitting in a three-stall bathroom, and I end up sitting with some other people in something like the back seat of a car. We're supposed to balance out the weight in the plane, so there's a lot of discussion about that.
Semi-lucid PK dream in old house
4:11am. Just finished a long, long dream where I thought I was awake. Not a multi-layered dream where I wake up from one dream into another, just one that had me convinced it was real.
I started off in the house where I grew up, and I'm in my room, and my brother-in-law Kenny is there with me. I should have known it was a dream then, because he's never been there, but I'm out of practice, and wasn't conscious enough to figure it out.
Dream of a wake/visitation
I went to bed last night with an upset stomach and seemingly without energy, so I didn’t even think about making any dream recordings. Too bad, because the night was chock-full of them. Unfortunately, they all had an ominous overtone to them, including death-related dreams.
(Actually, saying that I “went to bed” is an overstatement. I spent most of the night sleeping on the living room floor on a couple of blankets.)
A gift for my wife's grandfather
A long dream involving my wife's grandfather and grandmother. We were in a house, grandfather goes out with another man ... we're there at the house with her grandmother ... this was a long time ago during the night ... some kind of occasion, maybe a birthday, and we're trying to come up with a gift for him.
We decide to clean this one room for him, as a gift. I'm thinking it isn't much of a gift, but then I think with his advanced age, maybe it is an okay gift. So I'm able to question this, and reply to my own question, but I don't know that it's a dream.
Racing lawnmowers with my grandfather
Dream ... I'm on a golf course, racing lawnmowers with my wife's grandfather (in the real world he's 97). We get to a certain point, I don't know what the race is about, but I end up disabling his lawnmower, and leaving him in this area. I tell him that I'm sorry ... I race off ... but I leave him there ... as I've driven away, I end up thinking that I should send some help for him.
