Was I being shown something during an OBE?
Another weekend, and another OBE -- wow! I couldn't have asked for a much better start to the new year, especially since I've been preoccupied with work and moving, and haven't even attempted to do any setup work for an OBE.
Three OBEs after moving my bed
Wow, absolutely horrifying dreams one night, followed by three OBEs this night. I'll take the OBEs any night, especially the way these worked out.
How they started
I went to be around 11:30 p.m., lightning storms started in the area around 3 a.m.. I walked around unplugging all my electronic equipment (even with surge protectors, I'm neurotic about this), and took a brief bio-break. With the lightning getting a little more intense, I grabbed a few pillows and went to sleep in a different area of the apartment.
Sex dream, interrupted
I'm in a dream and a girl comes up to me while I'm working on something, and sits down on the floor next to me. I look over at her, and apparently doing my best Captain Kirk imitation, I say "My God, you're beautiful" (she really was). Just after we begin kissing there is a bolt of lightning in the physical world -- a thunderstorm is rolling into town -- and the dream is gone. I try to lay there for a minute, hoping I can get back to the dream, but that one bolt of lightning is followed by several more, and I know that dream has come and gone.
