Hide Your Desktop - a Mac OS X app
I normally stay away from writing about my programming life here, but I'm pretty happy with the "Hide Your Desktop" (and desktop icons) application I've written, so I thought I'd give it a plug here. In short, it's a $0.99 app for Mac OS X systems that lets you hide your desktop, so you can focus entirely on your foreground application.

I had a vivid dream this morning that I was in my bedroom, and my dad walks in and says that they need to take my mother somewhere, to the hospital I think. I’m not going with him, but for some reason he wanted me to know this.

I happen to be a big fan of Macs and Apple's OS X operating system, and I just ran across a blog post where the writer talks about Tim Cook describing Apple's mission statement. As much as I like Apple's products, I can't say I'd want to work there.
