A simple OBE recipe
After another near-OBE this afternoon (I got too excited, lol), I thought I'd share a simple OBE recipe here, in case I haven't shared it here before:
Stuck in the simulator
Wow, something different every day ... I just took an afternap nap, and when I "woke up", I thought I heard a noise, like maybe someone knocking on the front door. As I tried to get up, I was having some problems with the sheets. As I fought with them, I thought I heard a knocking again, and I thought, "C'mon Al, get out of bed and see what's going on", and I struggled some more. I've been sick lately, and a little weak, so I thought maybe I was having a weakness problem.
Three more vibration experiences
I just had three more vibration episodes during an afternoon nap. I still did not have an OBE, as I think I've swung the other way in my efforts, and I think I'm trying to force the action too much. However, I did have the very cool "toggling" between different worlds.
The setup
I had a stressful morning, and a nagging headache all day. Around 3pm I finally gave in and decided to rest for a little while. I set up my bean bag, and slept at an inclined angle for the usual 45 minutes or so.
Extremely disoriented following a short nap
At my sister’s house … I just drove up here to visit with my sister and mom for Mother’s Day this morning. I was tired all day, and with a little quiet time here I decide to take a nap on the couch. I fall sleep almost immediately.
Setting my intention before going to sleep
Last night was also the first night I said a prayer ... actually, I'm not sure "prayer" is the right word, it was really more like a phrase, a way of setting my intent, or intention. I don't remember the exact words, but it was something like "I'd like to have an OBE and be able to see the card in the kitchen, OR, I'd like to have a shared lucid experience with a friend who is willing to share in this experience, and also be willing to report their experience back to me."
Switching bodies in Virginia Beach
Shortly after arriving here at Virginia Beach, I decided to take a short nap, as driving always make me feel like sleeping. I laid down at roughly 3pm, and woke up some time shortly thereafter.
When I woke up, I felt incredibly groggy. To say that it took every ounce of energy to move my body hardly describes it well enough. I thought I had suddenly gotten very sick, or perhaps even drugged. It was everything I could do to keep my eyes open.
